Last Rays of Summer Sunshine
I am so happy to introduce you to this gorgeous shoot. This was the last of Summer, which is always a sad and happy time for me. Why?
Sad because the weather will decline from now and it will only get colder and darker.
Happy because after summer is Autumn and the colours of the falling leaves and sunsets are so warm and beautiful. And it’s the start of a new school year; it’s exciting!
Where did we have this family session?
For this session, we shot at this new location I’ve found in Chingford Plain.
This location is great for sunset sessions as the sun is filtered by trees and its last beams radiate through the high burnt grass. It creates a beautiful, soft and fuzzy background for the session. The high grass is also great for laying down poses and hide and seek with the camera.
Pro tip if you want to shoot in Chingford Plains
Because of the wildlife and the high grass, try to cover your legs with trousers, long dresses or boots as you might be bitten by bugs or irritated by the grass.
